To the love of my life

To my loving husband,

Today I woke up next to you as we have been doing for the past years and it is something I will always cherish and look forward to for the rest of my life. We've had bad days but we also had the best ones!

We've gone through a lot of changes, made a lot of sacrifices and for me they are all worth it because I can see how our love for each other transformed our children and the people around us.

Your being a good son and kuya has made the kind of husband you are to me and the kind of father you are to our kids. Loving yet firm, caring yet principled.

Somehow daddy, you make me want to do more than I can. You've taught me that nothing is impossible as long as I put my heart and mind to it. Thank you for giving me room to grow, for supporting my endeavors. For cheering me up and cheering me on. You are my pillar of strength, my oasis, the love of my life, and half of my soul!

Happy Anniversary to us! May our tremendous love, respect, and happiness outlive us and pour over to the generation that will come from us. There is none other. For me, there is only you!

My Papa and Mama

Year after year we celebrate our marriage and joyfully so. Always looking forward to more years together. Even our children complain of our being too cheezey. And yet, even then, I know how much they love seeing us in our own state of euphoria. We have built a house filled with love my husband, and I pray that it will always be this way.  

I remember our first year together, how we struggled and how we both stood on our own. You were determined to prove to my parents that you were the one for me. It is always good to look back from our beginnings. When we'd often scrimp and try to save and fail with the little that we have. How we'd often joke about having a car and pretend to look for it in the parking lot of SM. How we'd dream about owning a house with a big yard and a theatre/media room, a big kitchen, a library, and an office space. We may not have everything yet....but having each other is still and always will be the highlight of our lives.

We've gone a long way from the time we started dating and am just thankful that we have always chosen to change for the better. How our love has always remained strong...and how we have always chosen to stay in love this way with each other.

I love you so much my husband...you know I will always do...right up to the moon and back....to eternity and beyond....

When God Made You...

I came across this music video while looking for a good Wedding Anniversary song, a special occasion that my husband and I celebrate today.  The song speaks so much of my thoughts every time I realize how lucky I am to have a husband who loves me unconditionally.  Ours is a marriage built on a foundation that we continue to strengthen through our daily struggles, our fervent dreams, and the love that we have for our family.

I will always thank the Lord for that one day when he decided it was time for us to meet. I can no longer imagine my past, my present nor my future without you.  I love you and will always do, for the rest of my life...to infinity and beyond!  Happy Anniversary to us my husband! You are that one reason why nobody can ever break me!
